On December 28, from 18 to 2130z, Portugal vACC is hosting 2021's Madeira New Year's Party.
Madeira island is known for its wine, beaches and resorts, but what really makes Madeira famous is its challenging airport, approach procedure and its world renowned firework show.
This year a booking system has been made available, and we ask that you book a slot if you're flying to Madeira. Only arrival slots are available, without defined departure airfields, depart from wherever and whenever you'd like, and aim to reach Madeira at your booked time. We will be prioritising pilots with a slot whenever feasible, however there may still be some delays, please take that into account when planning your flight. Pilots without a slot may, evidently, join us as well, however delays will be likely.
