Arrival Tips:
LEST (Santiago): Be prepared for frequent changes in wind direction and possible short final adjustments, monitor ATIS closely. Additionally, Santiago is prone to fog and low visibility, especially in the mornings or during seasonal transitions. The runway also has a slight slope, so pay attention during landing roll and braking.
LECO (A Coruña): The approach to runway 21 involves terrain and a curved path, study the approach chart carefully. Also, the runway is short (1,940 meters) and there are limited missed approach options due to surrounding terrain. Precise flying is essential.
LEVX (Vigo): Expect a steep descent over water when landing on runway 01, manage your speed and descent rate accordingly. 🌊📉 Be aware that missed approaches on 01 are terrain-sensitive and there are frequent runway changes due to local wind shifts. Be ready for both 01 and 19. 🔄🌬️
