In Thailand, Songkran Festival (also known as Thai New Year) is held from 13 April to 15 April. It is one of the largest public events of each year, where people traditionally return home to their families. In addition to this, there are many water fights everywhere across the country to subdue the hot summer weather, creating a festive atmosphere.

On this occasion, Thailand vACC would like to invite you to celebrate Songkran 2025 with us by flying in and out of Bangkok Don Mueang (VTBD) or Suvarnabhumi (VTBS) during the event time. We hope to see you there - don't forget to bring your water gun!

Important: New procedures for VTBS since 3 OCT 2024

Please be informed that new SID and STAR procedures are in place as of AIRAC 2410 (from 3 OCT 2024), along with runway redesignations. Kindly make sure you have up-to-date navigation data if you are able to do so.
