Are you new to flying VFR on VATSIM? Or perhaps you're looking to sharpen your skills, refine your phraseology, and build even more confidence in the VFR environment? Then join us for a special VFR-focused event over the vibrant Johannesburg area!

Between 1100z and 1400z, we’ll have four aerodromes fully staffed to provide you with an exciting, immersive, and supportive flying experience, along with friendly controllers who will help you out at every step of the way:

Whether it be a Cessna 172, Baron 58, or a PC-12, any aircraft or helicopter of your choice, feel free to come along and finetune your VFR skills.

Fancy climbing and practicing into controlled airspace? Johannesburg Radar (FAOR_APP) will also be online, so you can practice as you see fit!
Circuits, or zone entries, or transits, you can do it all!

When calling any unit as a VFR, make sure to report your fuel (minutes), souls and intentions on initial call!
