VATSIM Colombia and VATSIM Venezuela invite you this June 22nd from 20z to 23z to the “Andean Vectors” event, a special connection between Simón Bolívar (SVMI) in Caracas and Alfonso Bonilla Aragón (SKCL) in Cali. Enjoy a flight experience with full ATC coverage, crossing the imposing Andean mountain range in a challenging and visually stunning route.

During the event, a realistic operation will be implemented at FIR Maiquetia (SVMI), replicating the airport's current procedures:

Runways 10R/28L and 09/27 will be enabled, using 09 exclusively for departures and 27 for arrivals.

Runway 10L/28R will remain closed.
These configurations will allow for a more orderly and realistic traffic flow, especially during simultaneous operations.

Whether you are a novice or experienced pilot, this event is ideal to improve your skills in navigation, cockpit management and communication with controllers in a high quality bi-national operation.
