Event Details

The aim of Panic Stations is simple; get as many aircraft flying into the destination as possible with one objective, be the first person to arrive at Alice Springs at or after one of the arrival times, for your chance to score bragging rights and win a prize!

The touchdown times are as follows: 0730 and 0900z

Note: Pilots must depart from an aerodrome more than 50 nautical miles from Alice Springs to be eligible to win any prizes.

We recommend you bring some extra fuel as controllers will be busy trying to accommodate the vast number of pilots while maintaining separation standards.

This edition, VATPAC has partnered with Impulse Simulations to provide winning pilots with a special prize! You can find Impulse Simulations on Instagram and Facebook.

For Pilots: There is one prize available per touchdown time for pilots; one for 0730z and another for 0900z. Make sure to turn around quickly if you miss the first prize to earn the second one!

For Controllers: All participating controllers, who control for at least one hour during the event, will go into a draw to win a 50% discount on any Impulse Simulations product!
(VATPAC Directors and Senior Staff are ineligible to win the prizes for this event. All other members participating in the event are eligible)
