Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport (UNNT)

On July 12, 1957, the first passenger flight No. 020 on a jet aircraft Tu-104 was operated on the route Novosibirsk – Moscow (with a stopover in Sverdlovsk), under the command of Captain V.M. Kupalo. The aircraft brought 50 passengers to the capital.

This date marks the beginning of the civil aviation history of Tolmachevo Airport. Today, it serves as a major passenger and cargo hub connecting Europe and Asia.

On the birthday of our beloved airfield, we’re excited to invite you to join our special event on July 12 from 12:00 to 18:00 UTC.

Birthdays are a time for giving, and your best gift to us will be your active participation in the event. But we won’t be empty-handed either, because giving gifts is just as fun as receiving them!
