Starting at September 19, we're calling: FIR Evening in the Bremen FIR! Every second Friday From 19:30 to 22:00 local time, many of the key airports across the Bremen FIR will be staffed with live ATC — including major hubs like Bremen, Hanover, Hamburg, and Berlin, along with a variety of smaller regional airfields.
Pilots can look forward to a dynamic and immersive airspace, offering realistic flying conditions. Whether you're planning a short regional hop, tackling challenging approaches, flying longer IFR routes, or jumping between cities, the Bremen FIR delivers a varied and engaging experience. It’s a great opportunity to interact with experienced controllers, sharpen your skills, and enjoy realistic, high-traffic scenarios.
FIR Evenings take place every two weeks, typically featuring two back-to-back IFR-focused events, followed by a VFR Special on the third. Then the cycle begins again — giving you a consistent chance to take part in a rich and ever-changing airspace environment.
So take to the skies and explore Northern Germany from above: depart Hamburg with views of the Elbe and the harbor, fly a pattern over Hanover, enjoy scenic approaches into Bremen along the Weser, or head east to the capital, Berlin. And don’t overlook the smaller fields — from the coastline to the inland plains, from the Wadden Sea to the open skies of Brandenburg, the Bremen FIR is ready for you!
