This year, VATSIM Spain and VATITA join forces to open The Mediterranean Gateway, an event that celebrates the conection between the most vibrant corners of the Mediterranean: Barcelona–El Prat (LEBL) and Catania–Fontanarossa (LICC).
A meeting on the skies that expresses the friedship between both contries, united by the sea, history and now... by our controllers and pilots too!

Both airports will be fully staffed by ATC, making a realistic and fluid environment. Whether you are taking off from the Catalonian shore course the majestic Etna, or set off from Sicily towards the vivid Barcelona, you will find a flight full of beauty, tradition and cooperation between divitions.
