Cover your ears and turn those props to 1000, VATSIM UK is excited to announce our latest event - Seaside Dash! Come and make the most out of 2.5 hours of ATC at Southampton, Bournemouth, Alderney, Guernsey, and Jersey.
Don't be put off by the size of these airports as you'll find something for every kind of pilot! Southampton sees regular links to the Channel Islands and beyond from by Aurigney, and come the end of July will welcome back Flybe and their Dash-8 fleet. Bournemouth is home to number of flight training schools and GA pilots, but also has regular passenger, cargo, and maintenance flights. The Channel Islands are home to the rich and wealthy, so a bizjet or two isn't an uncommon sight here! Of course, there are the regular passenger services from Heathrow and Gatwick to Jersey too.
ATC will be online on the 2nd of July from 1700-1930z, and we can't wait to see the South Coast buzzing with pistons and props!
