Vnukovo International Airport (UUWW)

Dear friends,

We are glad to invite you to the first in this season "Real-Ops" fly-in. It is 6th event since series was started in 2017. Traditionally, the oldest Moscow airport opens Real-Ops series. It is Vnukovo!

Сonstruction works began in 1937, and it was opened on June, 2nd, 1941. Airport with its more than 80 years history, Vnukovo used to be a military airfield, an airport for royal VIPs, and in the middle of XX century it became the major airport of Moscow, passing this role only in the late 80s. Nowadays Vnukovo is a modern passenger airport with a capacity of 25 mil passengers annually, being a hub for russian UTair and Rossiya airlines, for the first russian low-cost airline Pobeda and the base of "Rossiya" Special Flight Squadron, which performes transportation of the Russian Government.

On the 18th of September, 2022 from 12:00 up to 17:00 UTC we invite you to fly in and out of the most difficult airport of Moscow Area Center under full ATC coverage. We draw you attention that there are no flights of private aircraft in our booking, however we will be happy to see them in our skies!

This time we will provide our control from one of the cybersport clubs in Moscow, like real air traffic controllers. Some of us are also real controllers of Moscow ATC Center. That will be great event!

Get your charts ready and pour a spare tons of fuel in your tank - the queues may reach dozens due to traffic congestion during single-runway ops. We are using RNAV STARs in Moscow airports. Be ready to execute them; if your aircraft does not have the RNAV capability for any reason, don't forget to report it to the ATC!

We kindly ask you to update your navigation databases up to AIRAC cycle 2209.

During flight operations please stick to speed and altitude restrictions on departure and arrival routes. Controller's instruction to "climb via SID"/"descend via STAR"/"as published" means you should follow all constraints on your procedure. You may ignore them if got "unrestricted" instruction from ATC. We also ask you to familiarise yourself with the restricted areas in the vicinity of the airport.

See you in the skies of Moscow TMA!
