The Arabian vACC and the French vACC presents a new route in our events network from Dubai Intl. (OMDB) to Nice (LFMN). Join us on the 21st of January on our French Riviera Discovery event where pilots are invited to take out their wide-body aircraft on this route and attempt a landing on an approach easily done on narrow body aircraft (Emirates used to fly the A380 on this route 😉). The bigger the aircraft, the more challenging it gets!
Air Traffic Controllers will be online at Dubai and Nice with departure and arrival windows of 12:00–15:00 UTC and 19:00–22:00 UTC, respectively. Air traffic controllers from both vACCs and enroute will be on hand to assist you throughout your journey across the Gulf, Turkey, and the Mediterranean sea before descending into Nice!
