Happy New Year 2023! During these New Year holidays, VATSIM Moscow air traffic control center is pleased to invite you to the largest airport in Russia - Sheremetyevo.
The airport operates using a complex of three runways, which provide a capacity of 110 takeoffs and landings per hour.
Sheremetyevo includes eight terminals, of which five flight terminals - three in the South and two in the North terminal complexes, as well as three business aviation terminals.
In June 2021, for the first time in its history, Sheremetyevo was recognized as the busiest airport in Europe, and according to the results of 7 months of 2021, the second largest airport in terms of passenger traffic among airports on the continent.
On January 5, from 12 to 17 UTC, we will gather in one of the computer clubs in Moscow, from where, like real controllers, we will provide full ATC in the Moscow.
