The D10 TRACON is a busy hub for commercial traffic through its beating heart, DFW airport. But what is often overlooked on the network is its busy cluster of satellite airports that see such diverse kinds of traffic on a daily basis. A satellite controller sequencing a small Cessna with a business jet or large airliner is a common occurrence, typically taking place multiple times over an hour.
Thats why we are firing up our deltas for 3 hours this March. To show off the most impressive aspect of D10.
So give us a ton of IFR and VFR traffic on Saturday May 27th, 2023 from 2300z-0200z and check out these unseen fields. And be sure to brush up on your airspace rules. Because busting the bravo just isn’t cool.
