Olaya Herrera International airport has one of the busiest airspaces in our country, but as a fun fact all this operations are light and regional aircrafts coming VFR to the airport. Come to SKMD with your regional aircraft to feel an unmatched fly experience with us.
OBSERVATIONS:
-SKMD operations are limited to light aircraft, general aviation and regional aircraft such as AT46, AT76, E145, D328
-SKMD is a visual operations airport. You Can use the RNP 02 to get close to the airport but expect visual approach.
-Left traffic circuit is restricted to RWY02 due to high buildings and other obstacles.
-Airport is open between 1030z-2330z or when sun set, expected for 2310z this day, Aircraft approaching to Medellin after airport close expect SKRG as Alternative.
