Time for some scenic turboprop and heli ops!
Located in the Southland region, Milford Sound (NZMF) is an extreamly popular tourist destination neselted in the mountain and sounds on the west coast of the south island. It operates of a 767m long seal 11/29 and a large number of helipads. Milford Sound airport is home to a large number of tourist and adventure aviation operators running both fixed wing and helicopter operations.
Short hops to Milford include hopping over from Queenstown (NZQN), Wanaka (NZWF), Manapouri (NZMO) and more. Some longer trips could include departures such as Franz Josef (NZFJ) or Invercargill (NZNV). Milford is not an IFR equiped aerodrome. For those wanting to still enjoy jet ops, flying in/out of Queenstown (NZQN) should provide the most varied traffic.
After arriving, be sure to stick around to watch and listen to the other traffic coming in and out for the airport for the event, then why not pick a different airport to depart to and enjoy the fantastic scenery the area has to offer from NZA Simulations!

Whilst you can enjoy the whole NZZC as per usual the aim is to have as many movements in and out of the Milford Sound/Queentown area as possible.
