It's late in the evening on a weeknight in the U.S. and you ask yourself, "where can I get guaranteed ATC service for the next three hours?" You look at your monitor and notice a neon sign: "Oakland - Late Night." And then it hits you... 🌛
The Oakland ARTCC is proud to present its experimental event series, Late Night at ZOA. Each week, we will be staffing a series of airports during the time when most people on the East Coast have already gotten in bed. Unlike most weekly staff-ups, this weekly event will occur on a different day (almost) every week.
On Wednesday, January 17, 2024 7:00 PM PT (Jan. 18, 0300z), ZOA will staff SFO, OAK, MRY, and STS until January 17, 2024 10PM PT (Jan. 18, 0600z)
Late Night at ZOA will occur on the first Monday, second Tuesday, third Wednesday, fourth Thursday, and (sometimes) fifth Monday of every month for the foreseeable future. Come join us for some late night shenanigans.
