Welcome to the first edition of Staff Up Fridays, where every Friday evening, we'll be bringing you full ATC coverage at an airport within our airspace. And yes, we have a lot of them to cover at some point, (and for those who are curious, here's our airspace map: Airspace)
For the first edition, coming up on Friday 19th April from 1600z to 2000z, we'll be bringing you full ATC inside one the biggest and busiest airport within Sub Saharan Africa, O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB/FAOR). Fancy a nice little short haul to/from Durban or Cape Town, or a long haul to/from the Americas and Europe? We'll be there for you in Johannesburg!
Just be sure to bring enough fuel for the 20 year long taxi from the eastern runway to your stand for the arrivals!
