We invite you to join us in celebrating São João, one of the most popular and culturally rich festivals in Brazil!

This celebration, which arrived in Brazil with Portuguese Jesuits during the colonial era, honors three saints: Saint Anthony, Saint John the Baptist, and Saint Peter. In Brazilian lands, the festivities merged with the customs of the indigenous people, transforming the celebration into something unique and special.

With a rich artistic expression, the festival features various characteristic elements: decorations with flags, checkered clothing, musical rhythms like forró and sertanejo, along with enormous bonfires and plenty of traditional food, mainly corn and peanut-based dishes such as pamonha, roasted corn, popcorn, and quentão, a drink made with wine, cachaça, and sugar, perfect for warming up the party during winter.
