Quito has always been a popular airport for any pilot either from Ecuador or from abroad who is looking for a challenge in a business jet or an airlines. Ever heard of RNP approaches? Turns out they are widely popular in the SEQM charts, each of them taking you between potentially dangerous terrain that makes you think whether you are at the risk of hearing that dreaded GPWS alert! Also, some of those RNPs might leave you in a 2nm final... So make sure you are in a landing configuration before it's too late! Hopefully it won't be too windy!
