Welcome to the another edition of South Africa: Early Morning Operations, where as it is the last edition of the month, we decide to shake something up to the norm for a more interesting experience flying within South Africa!
This time around, the airport engineering team have overrun on their expected deadline of opening up the western runway at Johannesburg (03L/21R) after resurfacing from many people's dodgy landings. As a result, all departures will need to be pushed to the eastern runway until 1200z.
Like always, South Africa will be lit up with ATC, so whether you fancy Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban or Port Elizabeth for some domestic runs, we look forward to welcoming you in to another edition of our popular South Africa Early Morning Operations!
